ROBERT SMIBERT,
President & CEO |
Robert Smibert, with more than 20 years of experience in
telecommunications and technology, founded Virgin
Technologies in 2001 after serving as Director & Chief Technology
Officer for Saflink Corporation (NASDAQ:SFLK). Rob lead a
team of over 40 software engineers and R&D personnel and
transformed the Company's technology vision, exposing many
new opportunities for the Company's biometric products.
Prior to Saflink, Rob was co-founder and Chief Technology
Officer of Jotter Technologies, where he developed the
Internet's first "e-Wallet" application which PC World
Magazine dubbed as better than Microsoft's Passport and Novelle's Digital Me products.
Rob was instrumental in
the sale of Jotter Technologies to Saflink Corporation and
remained as Managing Director of Jotter Technologies,
managing investor's interests and debt reconciliation.
Rob's extensive experience also includes technology
innovation and management roles with RedCell, a Canadian
battery startup, and Acu-Trol Canada, an aquatic automation
equipment company Smibert founded in 1994 and sold in 1997.

HARMON, Chief Financial
Officer |
Tom Harmon, with an extensive background in management
accounting and corporate financial planning, joined Virgin
Technologies in 2007 after being a self-employed public
practitioner providing a broad scope of services to small
and medium sized businesses in a variety of industries.
Prior to starting up his own Tirecraft Auto Center franchise
in Whitecourt, Alberta, which he later sold, Tom was
Controller for TireCraft Auto Centers corporate head office.
In this startup situation, Tom most notably implemented
financial reporting systems and cash flow management for
head office and fifteen retail outlets.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of
Alberta and is a Certified Management Accountant.

MILLER, Chief
Technology Officer |
Justin Miller joined Virgin
Technologies in 2003 as a Field Engineer, was shortly
thereafter appointed IT Manager, and was appointed CTO in
2005. Justin’s primary responsibility is researching and
developing new, innovative communications solutions for the
Company’s markets.
Justin has extensive experience in telecommunications at all
stages of product development from design and prototyping
through installation and network integration. Prior to
joining Virgin Technologies, Justin was the Lead Field
Tester for ATI Telecom where he tested and troubleshot
Nortel CDMA, TDMA and AMPS cellular base station equipment.
He also worked for Nortel Networks, factory testing digital
cellular base station equipment, and Microlynx Systems
Limited as a Hardware Design Technologist, in charge of
prototyping new products.
Justin holds a B.Sc. Degree in Electronics Engineering
Technology, is a Microsoft Certified Professional and has
completed a number of other industry-specific certifications
and courses.

CAMERON, Vice President

John Cameron joined Virgin
Technologies in 2007 and brings with him over 10 years of
exceptional experience in sales and marketing from managing
key corporate accounts for larger businesses to building
customer bases from scratch in startup environments. John
was formerly General Manager of Cetec Communications,
acquired by Virgin Technologies in November 2007. In just
over one year, John increased Cetec's operations by 50% and
was responsible for managing field work, billing and sales.
Prior to Cetec, John immersed
himself in the oil and gas industry to obtain first hand
knowledge of the needs of the drilling and completion
markets. He held positions at Chinook Drilling Ltd. and
Hi-West Well Service. Before deciding on a change of
industry, John had an impressive run as Manufacturer's Agent
for SJW Sales, managing brands such as Elan skis, Ryder
eyewear, Ripcurl clothing and Golf Design clothing. Over a
period of 4 years, John increased ski racing product sales
by 200%, grew Ryder eyewear from 8 to 70 accounts,
and increased Ripcurl sales from $25k to $200k per year.
John also co-founded Aloe Bloc Ltd. in 2004, bringing a new
line of sun block to market, and worked as a Buyer for
Nevada Bob's.
John has a Bachelor of Science from the University of
Calgary and has completed a number of other
industry-specific certifications and courses.
| PAUL VERDIN, Field
Operations Manager |
Paul Verdin C.E.T., with over 20 years of experience in
telecommunications and electronics, joined Virgin Technologies in 2007. Formerly, Paul was a key member of the management team of Cetec Communications, acquired by Virgin Technologies in November 2007. While building Cetec from a startup to over $1M per year in revenue, Paul was responsible for hiring, R&D, sales and customer support, management of field technicians and equipment, and many other aspects of running a small business.
Prior to Cetec, Paul served as Electronic Technologist for Chimo
Equipment, where he was responsible for managing and supporting Chimo’s satellite fleet and technical field personnel, as well as R&D. Prior to Chimo, Paul was MWD Repair and Maintenance Supervisor where he achieved a high operating reliability rate for down hole tools, while repairing and maintaining surface and downhole MWD equipment, for Drilex Systems Canada. Paul also served as Electronic Technician for Sperry-Sun Drilling Services of Canada and Field Service Technician for Precision Scale.
Paul has his Electronic Engineering Technologist diploma from NAIT,
is a Certified Engineering Technologist and has completed numerous industry-specific certifications and courses.

Marketing Manager |
Jodie Tessier has founded or been involved with a number of
technology companies over the last 10 years, managing
various stages of product design and marketing. Most
recently, Jodie was a member of the Intuit Canada
management team, employed as Quicken and Quicken.ca Product
Manager where she was responsible for creating a Web
distribution strategy for Quicken, managing product
packaging and advertising, integrating the Quicken.ca portal
with Quicken, and designing and launching the first Intuit
Canada website.
Jodie served as Executive Director of Product Management
for Saflink Corporation (NASDAQ:SFLK), where she was
responsible for re-factoring the company's enterprise
software product line. Prior to Saflink, Jodie
co-founded Jotter Technologies where, as Vice President
Product Management, she developed the consumer software from
inception to over 1 million users and played a lead role in
product design, interface, and marketing. Jodie also co-founded MindQuake
Creations in 1996 (became Jotter Technologies) and worked as
Marketing Manager for RedCell, a Canadian battery startup.
Jodie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing, a Diploma in Public Relations,
Publicity and Promotions and a Certificate in Graphic Design.
