Equipment

The system includes a 1.2m satellite dish and Ethernet modem, 4-Watt transmitter, iDIRECT Ku band satellite transceiver modem, HD Universal or non-penetrating mount, and Broadband router with firewall and wireless access point. The 1.2m dish provides coverage in most areas of Canada and the USA.

All that's needed is electricity for the indoor unit. Remote sites do not even require an exterior electrical power supply. Speeds of up to 2Mbps down and 512Kbps up are available.
